The girls keep sleeping in later and later as they stay up later and later, but Keith and I aren’t on their clock. So, we tiptoe about until they finally stir in the morning. This morning the kids all played while we packed and hooked up the car. While the Jenson’s got their trailer attached I supervised a camper roof photo before saying goodbye to our friends, campsite, and mountains.
We drove through the mountains to an RV Park about 10 minutes outside Golden, CO in Wheat Ridge. The drive was ok, but the campsite was rough looking (basically a parking lot) and the transition from 40-75 degree weather in the mountains to 90-100 degrees outside Denver was intense.
That night we were connected with friends Rebecca and Josh and kiddos in Boulder. They provided a warm welcome, swimming, showers, and laundry! Thank you! It was so great to see you all. When we left, (too late in the night) I realized I didn’t get too many photos but the memories are still there.
