Last night we stayed at Nashville RV Resort and Cabins in Tennessee. It is right off the bypass highway in Nashville. Their booking website is the same as the KOA about a mile down the road so I thought maybe they were a KOA but they said they are a sister site and use the same reservation system but are not a KOA (shrug). They were $30 cheaper though. It was a little run-down but a huge park (250 campsites). We got there around 3 pm EST but 2 pm CDT so we quickly checked out the playground, bounce house Corn Maze/Axe throwing, before we began to melt in the 93 degrees and made a beeline for the pool. The pool was nice, but Willow hasn’t gotten used to sitting outside the pool fence (she barks), so someone must sit with her. So, I just kept dunking myself and drying next to her while the girls played pool basketball with Keith. We picked up some ice creams from the General Store and then headed back to the camper to make some pasta with homemade pesto courtesy of Nonni! It was delicious.
While we ate dinner, we watched another family from our camper window. They were sneaking around and looking behind the air-conditioner of a nearby cabin. A little toddler, 2 kids, and even the parents kept peeking over to see something. So, our dinner was fraught with a mystery about what they could be looking at, a snake? a cat? It couldn’t be anything too dangerous because they were letting their toddler get pretty close. Before getting ready for bed, we went on a walk around the campground and peeked behind the air-conditioner on our way. We found 3 little grey kittens! Mystery solved. Then on our way back from the walk another lady asked us what we were looking at behind the air-conditioner and we told her and she said, “Mystery Solved!” Nothing like a little campground mystery.
We all went to bed rather early and unlike the previous night when Anna woke me at 2:30 am and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I had a blissful night of rest until Anna tapped my shoulder at 5:30 am and said, “Good Morning!”
This morning was about 70 degrees and breezy at the campsite and so after packing up we took a little walk back to the playground and bounce house area for some exercise before heading out on the road again. Next stop: Sundermeier RV Park in St. Charles, MO (outside St. Louis).
Note: This write-up omits the 475* fights that have happened between the girls since we left. *Could be hyperbolic but feels true.
As always: Make sure you wait for the photos and captions to load below! If the photos are too small and you want to zoom in don’t forget you can Cmd+/- on a Mac or Cntl+/- on a PC to zoom in/out of your browser! If on a handheld device pinching is probably an option for zooming.

Looks like lots of fun stuff! Remind me to stay away from you when you have knives in your hands! Glad you liked the pesto!
