They say it takes 22 days to start a habit. I don’t know if this one will stick but we seem to be in the groove. Today we were going to have a picnic near a dispersed campsite at Ruby Reservoir, we packed a picnic and took our time, no rush. Went to the playground and I wrote a blog post while Keith worked. Come time to leave Anna had come down with a fever. We suspected this was happening in the morning because she was really fussy, but you never know what’s going to happen. So we switched gears and snuggled in for the day. We watched “We Bought a Zoo” with Matt Damon and Scarlet Johansson and snuggled up on the bed. Ate our lunches in shifts at the table and just kind of wiggled around the camper making sure our sleepy little sicky got plenty of water.
Later in the day we walked to the campground store for some ice creams for later (Wilconson’s – Montana style – 2 ice cream sandwiches, a chocolate-covered ice cream, and a fudge bar) and then to the playground again (there were no other kids at this campground) so not much to spread. Anna has a snotty nose but by dinner time her fever was gone, and she was eating her burger with the rest of us. Elsa has a little snot happening too but no fever. Anna had no fever in the night and slept really well so that hopefully it stays that way. Now just to get rid of the sniffles.
