Good morning! It’s still raining! Tara woke at 5:30am (time change!) and did a workout in the mud with Willow who unlike most dogs didn’t want to be in the dog park with her owner working out outside. So, everyone got up to get Willow and after a little morning TV, breakfast, snuggle, and pack, we decided to just get out of that rain early. We left the campsite at 9am but didn’t get on the road until 10:45am. After several involved visits to the dump station, gas, and tire pressure check and fill, we were on the road.
Things we did:
- Had a swanky expensive Disneyland pad with a full hook up
- Learned new things about our black water tank and black water meter and Keith finally got it to read empty (sneaky kiddos had been using the bathroom when the trailer was parked in the driveway <cuz fun!> but it’s a big N.O!)
- Put air in our trailer tires
- Drove around to put air in the other side of our trailer tires
- Got gas
- Drove through Chicago
- Stopped at a highway Welcome Oasis only to park behind a semi on the on ramp so everyone could pee in the trailer (Everyone was doing it?! –> Handy =8)
- Landed in the Disney World of KOA’s at Wisconsin Dells
- Swam and went to the splash pad
- Roasted marshmallows on a beautiful fire
